720p V`s 1080p? Looking At Getting A 50 Inch Plasma Tv 720p Is This A Good Choice?
Is there a great difference? I was going to buy a 50 inch plasma 720p. Please help is this a good tv?

The only differnce is quality a 1080p will give you amuch better picture IF you are watching tv viay sky hd or freesat HD, if you are planning on continuning to watch standard tv i would get the 720p

They say anything over 50 inches you should get 1080p, anything below, you wouldn’t notice much of a difference with a 720p. Being well over that mark, you may want to consider getting 1080p. The difference will be a great picture.

Buy a 1080p LDC instead. It’ll last longer, cost you less to run and is better for your eyes.
Don’t buy a 720p as they simply aren’t as good, either in Plasma or LCD.
If you have to have Plasma, go for the 1080p.
