I presume the surround sound will have an audio jack, which is put into the headphones input on the TV.
Although I am not sure as to what type of end the surround sound has.
Hopefully your home theater has 1 or 2 HDMI ports. Go get HDMI cable. Those you can get very cheap now. And that is an easy way to get audio and video for your plasma in 1 shot.
