Be carefull, extended warranty’s only extend the original parts and labor defects portion, so find out what exactly they cover then weigh out your options.

I bought mine at Sears because it is a protection agreement, so they cover a lot more than most, but cost about twice as much. Plus they service them locally.
John Lewis offers 5 years free. But when you look into the details, it doesn’t cover much ( like 3rd party for car insurance ).

If it covers new for old, ( if that models doesn’t exist anymore, the price YOU paid towards a new one ) accidential damage, but the big one is pixel dropout ( dead pixels ) how many and in what area. If it follows the manufactors then you will have to have LOADS ( if you think that 10 dead pixels out of 1 million or more is a high percentage THEY don’t ).

Also one thing to watch is that when they quote your year plan as it really might be only 4 years instead of 5 as your statutory rights give you a year to take back the item.
