Nvidia has made the installation process pretty simple. Ease of use and awesome experience is what you get with the 3D Kit (see pic).
Additionally to the 3D Kit to play games in 3D you need also:
- 3D Ready Dispaly
- GeForce Graphics Card
- PC with Microsoft Windows Vista or Win7
- Blu-Ray 2x speed drive and software application player (scroll down for details)
In the 3D PC Game Converter Kit there are included one pair of 3D shutter glasses and also three switchable nose pieces in addition to the glasses and the IR transmitter.
The reason for the nose pieces is to help different people obtain a comfortable level when wearing the glasses. It’s really cool and the glasses fit fine. The 3D glasses fit over your prescription glasses if you have ones.

You must have a HD Blu-Ray Video card in your PC before buying this product or it would not work properly.
If your video card is not HD capable, it would not present HD contents in your monitor. Is like trying to see a HD presentation in an analog TV. This only happens in videos that are resident in your hard drive. An not HD capable video card cannot handler the amount of info needed to process a HD image resident in your pc.
A non-HD compatible card will not be able to process an HD (or a Blu-ray) file for viewing, that’s why you need the GeForce.
To put it simply, make sure the video card and the display are ” HDCP ” compliant. Without it you wont get any sort of video playback. Obviously you can’t hook this up to an old school video card and expect to get blu ray video.

Best Blu-ray resolution is 1920×1080 pixels.
It should burn (record) files to the disc just fine w/o an HD compatible video card just fine. You simply can’t play those files w/o the right card and software.
Copying/burning an HD file does not require that kind of power, as you are not trying to view it.

Connect your GeForce 3D Vision Ready display to your NVIDIA graphics card.
The display you connect must be a GeForce 3D Vision Ready LCD, DLP HDTV, or analog CRT display. Use the HDMI-to-DVI adapter supplied in the box to connect a DLP HDTV. Can a 120Hz LCD Play 3D
On the installation and setup manual you’ll also find simple connection diagrams how to connect 3D ready display (120 Hz LCD or DLP HDTV) to PC+IR Emitter+USB DVI.
Can I get 3D picture with my computer? If you go to this site you can run automatic tool to see if your current system is ready to 3D conversion.
There is also a 3D ready displays list on the same site that you need to connect to play games in 3D. The display can’t just be 120Hz it needs to be also a “3D ready“.

What Is The Distance To Sit From The 3D Display
Maintain a distance no closer that 2 to 2.5 feet away from the display and take regular breaks after every hour of stereoscopic 3D viewing.
Under normal conditions, stereoscopic 3D viewing is safe for any duration that you would normally do. However, some people may experience discomfort.If you or any member of your family has a history of epilepsy, consult a physician before using 3D.
