Highest resolution (1920 x 1080p) Plasma TV. As per customer ratings appearance and picture quality got the highest rating – 5 stars, ease of use and sound quality both got 4 stars.
No doubt you’ll be wowed by the incredible difference in quality, especially those AMAZING blacks! They are so deep and beautiful. This set is unmatched in clarity and color. The sound is good enough that you won’t need a home theater system running all the time.
The image on this TV is awesome clear and non-blurry. The picture seems to have depth with the level of detail. The light colors are also spectacular.
Pioneer Elite Pro-151FD colour sensor. There is a color sensor included that will automatically adjust the picture to the changing light in the room.
There’s even a PC hookup to connect your laptop to the television. Note, if you don’t have a HD box you’re not going to be happy with any plasma television. You are just wasting your money buying a HDTV and not having some type of HD box like OPPO 83.
Latest Blu-ray Specs for Outstanding Video Quality
The OPPO BDP-83 Blu-ray Disc Player with super-fast load speed provides outstanding picture quality that is clean and true to life. The player provides full 1080p HD output, so you can have a cinema-like experience anytime you want it. Standard definition can look pretty bad on a HDTV but no more with OPPO 83 because of SD DVD upscaling. Oppo is a customer-driven company.
Elite Kuro PRO 151FD Matched Stands
Pioneer Kuro PRO is a pretty, glossy black, so it looks fancy. Oh, and – if it matches your room – be sure to get a piano black stand to match the TV.

Wall Mounts For Pioneer Elite Kuro 60 Inch
If being dissatisfied with a tabletop stand for your plasma, you may want to look for a wall mount. Those two we find the best matches to Pioneer 151FD 60 inch Plasma.
Sanus VMPL3-B Tilt Wall Mount for 27″ to 84″ Displays supports up to 280 pounds. No worries about hanging a 130 pound TV on the wall, this mount will take your worries away. With this Sanus stand your plasma is safe and secure for years to come. Easy to set up.
Sanus VMDD26B Articulating Wall Mount for 42″ to 63″ Displays – full motion allows smooth tilt, swivel, pan, and extend motions up to 25.75 inches from the wall. Fits virtually any 42 to 63 inch plasma TV up to 175 lbs. Very easy brainless setup.
What To Know About Elite Kuro PRO 151FD
Pioneer has stopped making it. Probably that’s the reason why Pioneer Kuro PRO 151FD is missing a USB hookup for firmware updates and stuff. And since Pioneer is getting out of the business, seems there are no firmware updates coming.
If you have older components like Tivo’s that have no HDMI, you may want to use S-video or composite. But there is the lack of multiple connections such as for S-video and component video. Then you’ll have to purchase a separate S-video switcher and a component video switcher. But that’s only if you need them otherwise you don’t want S-video connection on your HDTV.
Is Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-151FD Worth To Buy
Kuro PRO 151FD definitely blows out any other brand. This is simply the best TV ever made over 50 inches. While the price is high and standard-def viewing is mediocre on most channels, there’s a reason why Pioneer TVs cost so much – you’re getting the best. It’s a monster, heavey and huge and worth every pound and penny. It has every capability and performs better than anything else on the market.
This TV produces the deepest blacks, best gray scale and color temperatures. LCD TVs is catching up in the smaller size range, but when you are talking about 50 inch or larger, plasma is still king.
