The picture is clear and wonderful. Great contrast. In a darker room, watching this TV is like watching real-life. Your mind is tricked into thinking your there. This television is amazing. The colors are very accurate, rich and vibrant. The blacks are excellent — deep and true; not a Kuro, but also not $4000.
The Tv has more inputs/outputs than one could possibly need. Speakers are just fine but you might consider external speakers or home theater system for better sound. For movies you might want to purchase also Samsung HT-Z310 Home Theater System that is also wireless ready, so there’s no need to hide wires or trip over them. Amazing sound.

Blue-Ray is fantastic! HDTV is superb! PS3 and Xbox360 is breathtaking. If having issues with random bursts of brightness need to upgrade a firmware that totally addresses the problem. As everyone says the only thing that its lacking is a loud-booming sound but that shouldn’t stop anyone from getting it, since that’s an easy fix.

Initial set up is a breeze.Doesn’t seem to pump out much heat.You wont be disappointed. $150 cheaper than competitor because of no tax and free shipping. Plasma is certainly the way to go over LCD.

 

Samsung PN50A550 Burn In And Motion Blur

Haven’t encountered any ghosting or burn in. Since it is a plasma there is NO motion blur issues, good even with non HD channels! No problems with reflections and the screen is plenty bright in the well-light living area.

If you have your eye on a Panasonic or Samsung, go with Samsung as compared side by side Samsung won! Any difference in picture quality is virtually imperceptible, while the $500 difference was. Better also than Sharp Aquos.
Picture rivals $4000 Pioneer for half the price.
Hook up a bluray payer. With the bluray picture quality is the best on this TV.

There is a bunch of different hardware and washer/spacers for a lot of different TV’s. The tilt should be adjusted first — it is a nice feature for the bedroom. It sits flush and looks great. Works like a $300 one you would get from a box store. Simple with clean lines and easy to follow instructions even for novice installers. Impressed with this product.

Tilting wall mount for large flat-panel TVs. Quality and sturdy product. Easy to install, with good instructions and plenty of extra screws and bolts for all types of installations. Outlet for HDTV as well as cable have to be made outside of mount not within the mount unlike other models. Bolts could be too long, then use the provided spacers, which add about a half inch to the depth. Make sure you at least get the safety screws started before hanging the tv, it does make installing the screws easier. Universal mounting pattern fits virtually any 30 to 56 inch LCD or plasma TV up to 130 lbs.
