The Best HD Console – Wii, xBox 360 Or PlayStation 3
Which game console is the best one -- Wii, Playstation, or Xbox 360? Let’s try to find out what’s the best about each of the console.
Excellent gaming system with all games in high-definition --it’s PlayStation3! Pick up a PS3, get your game on, and watch some Blu-ray movies too.
The wireless controllers, HD display, and overall function are fantastic. High Def, energy efficient, quiet, and selection of great games that are only, as they say, only possible on the PS3.
xBox 360 vs. Wii vs. PS3
Each of the 3 current generation consoles xBox 360, Wii and PS3 serve an individual part of the market. The Wii is great for family, casual and group gaming (people in the same room), the xBox 360 is great for multi player games, and the PS3 is great for single player games.
If multi player is the top priority for a gamer than he should go with the 360. However, if multi player isn’t top priority then Sony exclusives are better and the PS3 would be the better choice. Hopefully the review will help an undecided buyer figure out which way to go.
Best Console For Movies Is Playstation 3
If you don’t play games, sure you’ll be watching Blu-ray movies in HD. People who don’t like playing games pick Playstation 3 Slim primarily for its blu-ray capabilities.
PlayStation 3 is the Ultimate Gaming System and Blu-Ray Combination. Every PS3™ system comes with a built-in Blu-ray player to give you pristine picture quality and the best high-definition viewing experience available. If you are looking for “just” a Blu-ray Disc Player to watch movies then consider some other Blu-Ray players.
With the PlayStation 3 120GB system, you get free PlayStation Network membership, a Dualshock 3 wireless controller and built-in Wi-Fi and 120GB of hard disk drive storage for games, music, videos and photos. FREE ONLINE gaming ensures no need to buy a gold membership (saves you money!).
With all the features your capable of in a console this one takes the crown. They offer not only great picture quality, digital audio out, the controllers are built in wireless, blu tooth, unlike xBox 360 where you have to spend 40 more dollars on the recharge pack. The PlayStation 3 move is years ahead of the xBox kinect project. The games are in true full HD unlike Wii or xBox. There is an internet browser, and enough storage to last you a good amount of time.
Playing games in surround sound with a large display is a blast. Probably you’ll never go back to the computer game versions with the patches, hardware drivers, etc. What make it even better is its blu-ray drive that makes games and movies look better.
A note about remotes and the PS3.
You will need a Bluetooth remote (such as the Sony PlayStation 3 Blu-ray Disc Remote), as the PS3 won’t work with standard universal remotes. This remote gives you streamlined access to the PS3′s Blu-ray Disc functions. Unlike standard infrared remotes, the Blu-ray remote control uses Bluetooth technology so it can be used without having to point directly at the PlayStation 3 system.
It’s nice to use this instead of a controller, and has all of the features that a blu-ray remote would have.
If you use your PS3 to watch movies, then this remote is a must have. And will make it easier to navigate through Netflix menus.
