Ultra Slim, Sturdy, Easy To Install Peerless SF660 Wall Mount For Big Screens

The new Peerless SF660 ultra slim and sturdy wall mount delivers enhanced screen compatibility, accommodating large flat panel screens, including those with VESA 800 x 400 mm hole pattern.

A Fixed TV Mount

Peerless SF660 Fixed Low-Profile Wall Mount fits 37″ to 60″ flat screens.
By there nature, swivle, titling mounts will be bulky and hold screen away from wall. A fixed mount instead of a tilting one can be chosen because the TV won’t not going to be mounted too high on the wall.

It is very easy to install the mount, and installation instructions includes compatibility guide that are easy to understand, so you can quickly match up your TV with the right adapter.

You can hang a 52in TV and it is only 2 inches away from the wall. The mount is flexible in vertical and horizontal positioning. You just have to make sure you hit the studs.
This mount comes with two sets of bars that attach to the TV. You can use the deeper ones to get a half inch extra clearance behind the TV, so that the connectors for your cables could all fit and didn’t get as squished.

Peerless includes a whole array of bolts (16mm, 25mm, and 40mm M8), spacers, and washers in the pack. There is more than enough optional hardware included to cover any brand of TV.

If you have a set smaller than 37″, it is suggested purchasing the smaller model because the mount is wider than the 32″ TV. It will stick out on both sides of the TV. For smaller TVs you might want to consider SF640 wall mount.

Access to bolts used to secure tv to the Peerless SF660 mount are difficult to access. If you take the “L” part off (using a saw) the allen wrench, then attached the straight piece to a cordless drill, you can tighten those screws in seconds.

The mount is much cheaper than at the stores. The mount comes with a very well document guide to which helps you chose the right parts for your TV.
SF660 also looks good on the wall. Getting the TV on the wall is simple work indeed. So…well worth it.

SF660 Mounting Instructions

The mount is easy to assemble and hanging a TV to a wall is a piece of cake. Just make sure you mount the plate onto studs.
Find the studs, drill 4 holes, bolt the mount to the wall, attach hangers to TV, hang TV. Carefully mark the location of the the wall studs. It is recommended ordering a stud-finder with this mount if you don’t already have one (get the Zircon i65 OneStep Stud Finder), and don’t forget a level!

Screw the 2 “bars” on the back of your TV and hook onto plate, slide left or right to center and lock down the the bars with the included extremely long allen wrench. Don’t forget to hook up the cables before lifting onto plate.
There’s enough holes to space out between any wall studs.

In case you want to hang the TV in the center of the wall but the stud positions are not in your favor, you’ll have no choice but to install slightly to the left/right. The problem is you only have limited room to slide the TV on the maunt/rail to the right/left before you reach the end of the mount. If your TV allows it, go for the next size up in wall mount. That way, you have more room to slide the TV left/right to center it in the wall.

The kit comes with an assortment of screws and a look-up chart so you can cross refernce TV make and model with cortrect screw length.

Will SF660 Wall Mount Fit My TV

Don’t get to either end when choosing mount for your TV. E.g. it’s not the best idea to hang 32 or 60 inch TVs on this one. If TV is too small you’ll see frame sticking from under the TV, if TV is too big there is a good chance that it will not fit.
