    (1) No tree products. So no paper towel, tissue paper, etc.
    (2) No house hold cleaners. Nothing based on ammonia or bleach. Windex is not your friend.
    (3) Get a soft cloth and see if you can clean the TV with just a dry cloth. That would be the optimal solution as nothing even potentially harmful gets involved then.
    (4) Read the manual. See if it implicitly states anything you should not use. It may or may not list anything. But you should at least make sure to see if it does flag anything specific to avoid.
    (5) Hit up a TV or electronics store and ask them for a cleaning kit. This will come with a cleaning solution and soft cloth. You then mist the solution into the cloth (never your TV) and wipe down the TV.
If you must go the DIY solution, go to the drug store and get isopropyl alcohol (91%). Mix that in a 1:1 ratio with water in a spray bottle. Mist that onto a soft cloth (which you’ll also have to track down on your own) and then wipe down your TV.

you should only use an official LCD/Plasma screen cleaner which can be obtained from any LCD/Plasma supplier. Only use this as any other method can cause the special coating to damage.
